Right on dude! give it to him good. You are right about the respect for our vets. Although, on the other hand, He claims to have been looking for a year for work as a veteran and a year is a long time to be searching for work and not having come up with something. Doesn't sound to me like he is putting much effort in towards finding something. Of course, maybe he doesn't know how to properly search for work or prepare resumes or whatever. He should go to the unemployment office and see if they have any ideas or assistance to help him find work. Or, there are the temporary agencies as an alternative route. Then there's Monster.com. Come on, apply a little effort ! good luck
durango32 I lived in oregon in the early 90's, during the reagan years and that's when the mills started to die. because of de-regulation, the govt. allowed whole logging to be sold to the japanese who took said logs outside of U.S.territory and turned the logs into plywood and sold them back to us (I was told this by a mill worker) I guess that was reaganomics at work. The current crisis was caused by an illness that still hasen't been classified as such but its been around for awhile its common name is GREED.
